We are a team of successful designers, procurers, installers and project managers specialising in the fields of education, healthcare, special needs and commercial properties.
We have a well-defined approach to engaging with the stakeholders and the design team. Creating a range of environments and working experiences to match a brief. Our procurement expertise and knowledge of the UK manufacturing is extensive enabling a substantial proportion of the solution to be sourced within the UK.
We are specialists in designing spaces that inspire users to work at their best.
We focus on how the space will be used ensuring that the technology needed to drive the functionality is integrated into a spacial design that delivers inspiring spaces fit for the future.
We have delivered projects across the UK and the World for many years. We are curriculum and teaching specialists and recognise the changing world of education, its technologies and the impact that good design has on behaviours and standards.

Our projects range from designing an existing IT classroom into a food technology room to complete university campuses.
We fill the gap in your puzzle, whether that’s the complete puzzle (the turnkey package) from design to fit out or parts of the puzzle. Maybe you have a design and need someone to procure and manage the delivery of it to the site, or you need a design and costs, but will use your own procurement supply chains. Profile
Karen is the Managing Director and a co-founder of Red Apple Designs. Originally a Chartered Accountant, she led one of the largest organisations in the public sector education market contracting for and distributing everything in a school with a 60-vehicle transport fleet for Kent County Council.
This business included a furniture manufacturing unit for which she designed ranges of furniture for different markets, drilling down into the components to create the longest whole life cost. Karen represents a safe pair of hands, confidently managing expectations yet enabling a creative and inspiring solution. She is an award-winning procurement expert.
Adam Goodayle
Design Director
Adam has worked within the FF&E sector since 2003. He lectured in conceptual design and planning at BA level and tutored at the Art and Design foundation level teaching product/ furniture design, architecture / interiors and sculpture. He has wide experience in the furniture and equipment manufacturing industry and has been involved in designing bespoke furniture within the educational sector.
Profile
Adam is our Design Director and co-founder of Red Apple Designs. Adam began as a student in furniture design and design technology before becoming a teacher in Further Education.
He has Masters in Design for the Environment and a BA in Interior and Spacial design. His technical knowledge is unbounded and ensures a superb level of coordination on each project.
He is a safe pair of hands balancing budget against the need for a creative and inspiring design.
