PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

New 1FE for Telford and Wrekin Council with SR Roberts Construction delivering the build.

THE RAD SCOPE & BRIEF:

To design, coordinate and install 1 FE primary school in Telford. We are delivered a full turn key solution.

 OUR SOLUTION:

We offered challenges on what a modern environment should aspire to, and how we could use technology to support the changing approach to their work. We used 2D and 3D illustrations of the spaces. The scheme was a basic needs solution following the DFE guides.

HOW WE MADE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Designed in a complex BIM Stage 2 environment, including a fully scheduled CObie output for ongoing repair and future maintenance.
  • Brought our procurement expertise and knowledge of the furniture industry (both educational and commercial markets) to find the right solution for this project.
  • Worked with the council directly to look at procurement options ultimately procuring the Group 3 and assisting with the tendering for the fitted which went to Lab FX.
  • Designed the colour scheme for the interiors
